Guiding Grenada's Approach to Cannabis Reform

The Grenada Cannabis Commission for Legalisation and Regulation was established by the Government of Grenada to help guide the country's approach to cannabis reform.

Through research, public consultation and expert engagement, the Commission is examining the social, economic, health, agricultural, religious and legal considerations surrounding cannabis and helping to shape recommendations for a responsible legislative and regulatory framework.

Our work focuses on the proposed decriminalisation of cannabis for private, religious and medicinal use, while exploring the development of a regulated cannabis industry and the potential of hemp and agro-processing in Grenada.

Our goal is to help create an approach that protects public health, respects cultural and religious practices, creates opportunities for Grenadians and supports responsible economic development.
